Sell or List your NFTs
Selling or Listing your NFTs
On Shiniki, you can sell your NFT with 2 methods
Fixed Price
Timed Auction: In Timed Auction, you can create an event where buyers place bids against one another until a specified time. At that time, you can determine who would be awarded the item - usually the person with the highest bid.
Follow this tutorial to get started.
Step 1: Navigate to the NFT you want to sell and click on the “Put on sale” button in the top-right corner. If you don't see the “Put on sale” button, make sure you're connected to the correct wallet.
Step 2: Next, select the sale type and set the price/starting price you want to list your NFT at, and click “Put on sale”.
Step 3: If you are selling an item from this collection for the first time, the site will ask you to approve the collection for trading.
Click the “Approve” button. This only has to be done once per collection. Once approved, you don't have to do it again, unless you revoke the approval later on.
Notice: MetaMask may warn you that you are giving Shiniki full custody of your NFTs, which is true. This is needed for Shiniki to execute a List Order on the approved NFT. This is common across major exchanges such as OpenSea, X2Y2, Rarible, etc.
Step 4: Lastly, you'll need to confirm the listing with a signature request from your wallet.
Accepting Offers
You have 2 options for accepting an offer on your item: Accept the offer in the NFT details page or Manage your offers in your Profile → Offer tab
Once you're on that page, you will be able to see the list of offers you have received
Step 1: Click “Accept” on the offer that you wish to accept. This will begin the process.
Step 2: A pop-up will appear with the details of the offer. Click “Accept Offer” to confirm that it is the offer which you wish to accept.
You will now need to confirm this in your wallet to proceed.
Step 3: Once the transaction is completed, a notification will pop up on the top right corner, showing that your sale has been successful.
#Possible errors: There are some possible errors that might occur and cause your transaction to be failed or reverted:
You do not have enough ETH to cover the transaction fee
The buyers do not have enough WETH in their wallets to pay for your item
The gas limit of your transaction was set too low, increasing the chances of a failed transaction
Cancel listing/ Cancel auction
Follow these simple steps when you want to cancel your your listing/auction
Step 1: In your profile section, click on the NFT you want to cancel listing
Step 2: Click on “Cancel listing” button
Step 3: Confirm your transaction
Step 4: Wait for the system to proceed. Once finished, a notification will appear.
