Platform Fees, Gas Fees and Discounts

Users will have to pay 3 types of fees on Shiniki Marketplace: Platform Fee, Gas Fee and Royalty Fee.

In this instruction, we will explain about Platform Fee and Gas Fee and how you can save some money on Platform Fee.

Platform Fee

Platform fee on Shiniki Marketplace is currently set to 0.5% by default.

Shiniki takes only 0.5% per sale while 50% of transaction fee goes to Shiniki NFT holders.

Platform Fee Discount

There is also an ongoing Incentivization Campaign for Communities.

NFT Projects or Communities benefiting from this campaign enjoy only 0.1 - 0.25% platform fee. In details: Tier 0 Reward: 0.1% lifetime platform fee + Official Verification Checkmark. Tier 1 Reward: 0.25% platform fee for 1 year + Official Verification Checkmark Tier 2 Reward: 0.25% platform fee for 3 months. + Official Verification Checkmark

The Shiniki team will have a thorough discussion with the project side before deciding which Tier the project will obtain. In addition to receiving a discount on platform fees, all projects in Tiers 1 and 0 will also become partners of Shiniki marketplace. For now, the number of partnerships is limited to 50 and only open for the first few months.

This will provide the project access to cross-marketing benefits, help with increasing the project's exposure and other support related to product development.

We will publish a list of "Discounted NFT Collections" (updated daily) which have received the Trading Fee discount before Launch Date. Note: On launch day, go to Shiniki Marketplace and claim NFT Collection ownership to set your desired Creator Fee and to receive the discounted trading fee for your community.

Platform Fee Rebate

Shiniki NFT Holders further receive 50% of all platform fees on Shiniki Marketplace after every 14 days. In order to receive the 50% platform fee rebate, you need to have at least 1 Shiniki NFT and stake it into the battlefield for at least 3 days. See more

Gas Fees

Gas fees are transaction fees paid for validators on Ethereum. Shiniki does not receive these fees and is not able to refund them. We also don't control gas prices nor profit from them.

However, Shiniki Marketplace has optimized our smart contract to save you over 60% gas fees on Ethereum.

There are two categories of user actions that result in ETH gas fees: > One-time fees: Token or Contract Approvals > Recurring fees: You will pay gas fees on Ethereum when:

• Accepting an offer Transferring (or gifting) an NFT to someone

• Buying an NFT

• Canceling an NFT listing

• Canceling a bid

• Converting WETH back to ETH, and vice versa. Notice: Signing (Accepting) Shiniki Marketplace's Terms of Service does not cost any Gas Fees.
